Roland: Fantom X7, VP-550, SH-201, JX3P, (PK-7), Integra-7
Other: Korg Kronos X-88, Korg Triton Extreme 76, Kurzweil PC-88, SCI Pro-1
The Triton and PK-7 are used as midi controllers for the Kronos. The Fantom is an excellent midi controller for the Integra. The Kurz is never gigged - I sometimes hook it up to the Integra in the studio because I like the feel of the keyboard over the Kronos.
I use a 2-tier Quiklok Z-stand for the Korgs over the PK-7 and to my right, a 3-tier Quiklok (I call it the 'droid because it looks a little like a battle-droid from Star Wars without the keyboards )for the X7, VP and SH. I find this rig is flexible enough and provides the sounds for any style of music.
Hey Andy, For the synths on my Jaspers stands lowest tiers I use MIDI to control the bottom ones. Currently I have my DX-7 on the bottom of one stand with a D-50 above it. My other stand has a W-50 on the bottom with a SY-35 above it. The low ones are low but When I am seated in my studio chair I can actually reach the panels still so its not like I am sitting on the floor.
Now when I perform, I use Apex stands along with a platform stand.
