Loving my new JD-XA. WOW! But so hard to learn!

Post by flyingace »

It's a shame that Roland or others haven't produces the tutorials for in-depth operation like they have for other units for this amazing beast of a keyboard yet!

Any thoughts on this? It's quite a complex instrument. The manual is pitiful (as usual) and the parameter guide covers basic shortcuts, commands, etc. but not workflow or deeper options.

Other than that, it's an amazing machine and I'm glad I took a chance on it!

Hi there,
There is an enhanced alternative JD-XA manual by some power users from this and other forums.

As for me it's a quite decent piece of literature to start with to break the horse.
Hope it hepls.

There's a slightly updated version here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lulmdbfsp2xs2 ... .docx?dl=0

Agree mightily, that it would have been great if there were more tutorials from Roland. The Ed Diaz tutorials for the FA series are excellent.

Cheers-
