Does it sound like a double note being played?

If so, the reason for this is that when you record enable a midi track it will play the note you are pressing on the FA back to itself, so you need to shut the 'local' setting to off which prevents the FA from playing the note you press, instead responding to the one that is returned from your DAW (Logic).

So either set FA to DAW mode, or go to the system menu on your FA and turn local keyboard to off.

Need more info.

Where is this "modulation" coming from? Can you hear it in headphones plugged into the FA?

Are you using an Audio Track, a MIDI Track, or a Software Instrument Track?

Have you tried just one single track (try one of each of the different types at different times) to see if any one is the culprit?

I have tried to locate the local in the system but could not find it .

I have tried all the tracks and still I can get the modulation effect.
when I open Logic and set the sound on the Fa06 all is good but when I hit playback on logic modulation comes back.

Could you explain 'modulation' please? is it as per the mod wheel being held up, or is far more nasty/gurgled than that?

If you are using a midi track (external instrument in logic) it should be exactly as you played in.

If you are using an audio track then it could be your inputs, or perhaps a plugin on the audio bus/track, or an audio driver issue.

Is there any chance of getting a screenshot of your Logic project? Would help to diagnose the issue.

Also, how is your FA06 connected to the Mac?
