Re: What features would you like to see in Juno-X?
- Favorites / Patch management. Scenes are easy enough, would love to have a way to quickly get to tones that I like or make my own categories/lists of them. The WC-1 gives some of this, allows assigning some patches as favorite - Multi-timbral parts. I think it'd be awesome if I could create a scen...

Re: Controling RD-2000 with External Midi
To change tones in a zone, send the bank and program change on the matching channel (1 = zone 1, etc.)
To change programs, send the bank and program change on the control channel (typically 16, but can be adjusted in system).
Scenes cannot be recalled remotely.

Re: No MIDI (Sequence) Start/Stop??
But there is no real sequencer to start, just the Arpeggiator. With Remote Keyboard enabled, the Arp will respond to notes. If you are using only step edit sequences, you only need one note to get it running. If you are using the Arp or iArp, it needs to get stimulated by a note pattern to do anythi...

Re: RE: Compression FX
In addition to the separate mic compressor mentioned by patriki, there is also a master compressor. There is a set compression / limiter zone Mfx, but these cannot be applied to the mic signal. See the routing illustration in the manual. 47 Compressor 48 MS Compressor 49 Limiter 50 Sustainer 51 Tran...

Re: Does Jupiter-X include a wireless adapter?
Both.
It has bluetooth built in, send and receive BT MIDI, receive BT audio.
You can purchase the WC-1 wireless adapter that enables Roland Cloud Connect, much easier access to the Cloud sound packs, expansions, and models. Also provides search and favorite function for internal tones.

Re: Expansion Packs Already on the Jupiter X?
EX Zed 001 waves are already installed in the board. Some of the patches might be different.
Other than that, I do not know of any expansion or sound pack that is in the board. You may find occasional sounds that appear to be the same.

Re: Scene offsets for Model expansions vs Zencore
You are correct. Offsets are active on the front panel only for ZC tones in Scene or Part, not in Model Bank mode.
For model tones, you access offsets in Scene or Part, right arrow to SCENE PART menu.

Re: Splint points not saving in scenes?
It does work. Here are some notes on Split Key behavior that might help you get it working right. SPLIT - to choose split point between z1 and Z4, hold SPLIT and depress desired zone 4 top key. Zones 1-3 get the same upper settings, Default split point is F#3. - When editing on the Internal / KBD pa...

^^^ This ^^^Before you do anything drastic I would suggest removing your other hardware one bit at a time to see if you can identify what's causing the issue.
I found my thunderbolt dock was causing issues, and I removed it from my system.

Re: Jupiter-X editor (build 369) can't connect to Jupiter X
I don't see that reinstalling the OS will solve this. That is HelpDesk 101 (power on, reboot, kill all apps, reinstall) when they don't know what else to do. (Although killing all apps and rebooting actually does solve a lot.)

Re: Jupiter-X editor (build 369) can't connect to Jupiter X
Are you connecting directly to the Jupiter, or through any sort of USB hub or dock? I have found that those will often stop communication.
If that is not the problem, you need to put a trouble call in to Roland Backstage.
